Banksy is a well-known pseudo-anonymous British graffiti artist. He is believed to be a native of Yate, South Gloucestershire, near Bristol and to have been born in 1974, but there is substantial public uncertainty about his identity and personal and biographical details.
He started as a freehand graffiti artist 1992-1994 as one of Bristol's DryBreadZ Crew (DBZ), often assisting writers Kato and Tes. He was inspired by local artists and his work was part of the larger Bristol underground scene. From the start he used stencils as elements of his freehand pieces, too.
Banksy's stencils feature striking and humorous images occasionally combined with slogans. The message is usually anti-war, anti-capitalist or anti-establishment. Subjects include animals such as monkeys and rats, policemen, soldiers, children, and the elderly.
On 7 February 2007, Sotheby's auction house in London auctioned three Banksy works, reaching the highest ever price for a Banksy work at auction: over £102,000 for his Bombing Middle England. Two of his other graffiti works, Balloon Girl and Bomb Hugger, sold for £37,200 and £31,200 respectively, which were well above their estimated prices. The following day's auction saw a further three Banksy works reach soaring prices. Ballerina With Action Man Parts reached £96,000; Glory sold for £72,000; Untitled (2004) sold for £33,600 - all prices being significantly above estimated values. To coincide with the second day of auctions, Banksy updated his website with a new image of an auction house scene showing people bidding on a picture that said, "I Can't Believe You Morons Actually Buy This Shit." The 118 WallyPower is an incongruous name for a high performance
superyacht that integrates technology with aesthetics for a sleek and
startling result. The deck superstructure has an aero-dynamic,
stealth-bomber design with a vertical bow and air inlets encasing an
innovative interior layout based on zen-like simplicity to mask a
surprising amount of comfort. Three gas turbines generate 16,800 HP
power that allow the 118 WallyPower to cruise a leisurely 60 knots in
flat seas and tackle rough waters with ease in this ultimate luxury
vehicle.
The designer and founder of Wally Yachts is Luca Bassani Antivari, a
47-year-old Italian entrepreneur and former champion yachtsman who has
earned the Monaco-based company an international reputation for
customised cruising boats. So much so, in fact, that the 118 WallyPower
recently won the MYDA, the Millennium Yacht Design Award organised by
Seatec (the yachting and shipping technology show of Carrarafiere) for
the "Layout of the Third Millennium.

Only ten bottles of the most expensive perfume in the world were to
be sold when production began last year, and the costly perfume was
made to order in either a women’s or men’s fragrance. This perfume is
sold by Clive Christian, who acquired an established name in perfumes,
Crown Perfumery, in 1999. They designed the exhorbitant scent called
“Clive Christian No. 1″ from what they say are the rarest, finest
ingredients around. The flacon that the perfume comes in was crafted by
the French glass specialist Baccarat Crystal. The bottle is encrusted
with a five carat diamond that would make this perfume more attractive
than the person wearing it. The expensive perfume bottle also has an
18-carat gold collar around the bottle’s top.
Also, here you can find list of ten the most expensive perfumes ever.
Clive Christian describes the scent like so:
- Top notes of bergamot, lime, Sicilian mandarin, cardamom, nutmeg, and thyme.
- Heart notes of lily of the valley, rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, and heliotrope.
- Base notes of cedarwood, sandalwood, vetiver, ambery woods, and vanilla.
